Notes#

centerdot has variantForm while cdot does not. Current MathJax CHTML pixel checks pass for naked, not, script, fraction, root, and fence contexts, so this rewrite preserves visible rendering; DOM/MathML/rendering attrs are not identical. The rule excludes cdotp because cdotp carries texClass=PUNCT and changes spacing.
