Examples#
In TeXForm#
TeXForm parses this entry as prefix syntax; the package determines its argument specification.
Equivalent forms#
\overset{#1}{\underset{#2}{#3}}approximateOften visually similar for simple inputs, but MathJax parses this command as a single munderover node while the nested form produces nested mover/munder structure.
\mathop{#3}\limits_{#2}^{#1}approximateClose when the base should behave like an operator with limits; this form forces operator semantics and can differ in spacing/classification from
\overunderset.
